Safety is one of HUSD’s top priorities. In the unlikely event of an emergency, our schools need to have up-to-date student and parent contact information. If you have not completed the process yet, please go to tinyurl.com/HUSDUpdate All families must complete the update process by 9/30/25. Please help promote safety by updating today. Please contact your school’s front office if you have any questions or need help.

The District has been made aware of reports of a possible mountain lion in the area of Oak Hills. The possible sightings have been reported near Mesquite St. and Cedar St. We ask that our students, staff, and families stay vigilant while in the area. If you do see any animals, do not approach them. Animal sightings in this area should be reported to CDFW through its Wildlife Incident Reporting system or by calling the regional office at (909) 484-0167. Public safety concerns should be reported to law enforcement, and emergencies should be referred to 911.

The City of Hesperia's Engineering Division has informed us that they will be closing Ranchero Rd. from 7th St. to Cottonwood Ave. from Mon 10/14/24 - Sun 8/31/25. The city will post a detour through Mesquite St. This will most likely have an impact on most, if not all, of our school sites.

All support sites and school sites will be closed for Fall Break from October 7 - 11, reopening October 14.
